This is another ‘Service’ theme assembly which focuses on the ways different services help people such as nursing and the police. However, the assembly begins with phenomena in nature where animals help each other and provide ‘services’ such as Plover birds and crocodiles. The assembly then focuses on the story of the lion and the mouse which can be read by children. The final section is a challenge toStop and think. How can we be helpful to others? Today - what can I do for others today? As always, the assembly is topped and tailed with words and prayers which can be led by the children.
